Mission of KIDSROBINS-NEST
The mission of the KIDSROBIN-NEST (Next generation Education and Scientific Training), led by Dr. Ross Berbeco and Dr. Jean Nakamura, is to organize, and support integrated educational, research and professional development initiatives that operate across disciplines and training stages and serve as a model environment for the future radiation sciences workforce. Integrating and amplifying diverse expertise across a rich network, the ROBIN-NEST is leveraging existing resources and building new learning platforms into an equally compelling new educational interface.
We are also building a novel educational and knowledge-sharing network that drives training, individual engagement and networking outside of participants’ disciplines. Participants will access diverse inter-disciplinary opportunities including novel didactic educational resources, scientific forums, and professional development activities led by a diverse collection of scientific and clinical leaders.
KIDSROBIN-NEST Cross-Training Classroom
The Cross-Training Classroom is a didactic course based around a two-year quarterly seminar series covering diverse topics championed by the research leaders within the ROBIN network. The Classroom’s seminars will begin in the Spring of 2024.
Who is this for?
Undergraduate students, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, clinical fellows and faculty.
There are no prerequisites and we invite and encourage individuals from diverse backgrounds to participate and access the unique programming that is being developed.
